WHAT WILL JOHN DO?

Republican's say they have the votes for TrumpCare and are bringing it for a vote on the House floor tomorrow (Thursday). You've been calling. You've been writing. Tomorrow, show up and tell John Faso and his staff in person that you will not stand for this catastrophic bill! Come to Faso's Kinderhook office at 9am. Greet his staff as they come into work. Make sure they know exactly how you feel about it! 

Yes, it's early. Yes, it's at the beginning of the work day. Yes, everyone is tired and burned out. But we have to fight through. Join with your fellow resistors tomorrow. Gain strength and energy from their company. Vent! Do whatever you have to do, just show up! Come for just a short bit of time on your way to work. Bring one other person! Double your presence!!!

Conventional wisdom said this bill was dead two weeks ago. Blocking this bill in the Senate is not guaranteed! Make sure John Faso thinks twice before voting for this bill. Make sure he knows he's coming home to a bunch of constituents who know that he cares more about his corporate masters and his political party, than he cares about our lives.

a district-wide protest was held at
Congressman John Faso’s
District Office in Kinderhook, NY
with a march that followed to the Congressman's home.

On Saturday February 25 at 2:00 

there will be another district-wide protest at 

Congressman John Faso’s Kinderhook office 

2 Hudson Street in Kinderhook, NY. 

Resistance Recess

During the week of February 20-25, all Congressman will be on recess in their home districts. It is the perfect time to hold town hall meetings and to brief constituents on how they are being represented. Unfortunately, Congressman Faso has repeatedly refused to do this and has scheduled multiple high-ticket campaign fundraisers instead.

Consequently, since the Congressman will not hold the time honored connection with voters, people from the district will be taking their concerns about the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Planned Parenthood, the environment, immigration and jobs directly to him in front of Faso’s hometown office. These are really non partisan issues and affect everyone in District 19. It’s time for Congressman Faso to do his job.

The protest is being led by Move On, Our Revolution, Indivisible CD-19 NY and being supported by many other Indivisible and Resistance groups from throughout the 11 counties of the 19th Congressional District.

The last demonstration had nearly 2000 people attend. So please come out and show Congressman Faso that we are watching and will not be silent in fighting Trump and the Republican's agenda.
